DivyaSree Appoints Sandeep Tapadia as CEO, Asset Management

DivyaSree Developers has appointed Sandeep Tapadia, MRICS, as Chief Executive Officer, Asset Management, strengthening its leadership team as the Bengaluru-based developer prepares for the next phase of portfolio expansion.

Tapadia joins DivyaSree from Embassy REIT, where he most recently served as Co-Head – West & North, Asset Management. His career spans architecture, hospitality, asset management, operations and ESG, bringing experience in managing large commercial portfolios and enhancing asset performance.

In his new role, Tapadia will lead DivyaSree’s asset management function as the developer looks to expand its portfolio using its existing land banks. The company has delivered nearly 27 million sq ft of residential and commercial space across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai and has stated plans to double its portfolio over the next few years.

Asset management is already an important part of the group’s operating platform through its group company Denali. DivyaSree also has several large commercial developments and redevelopment opportunities across its key markets, including Technopolis, NR Enclave and Avance.

One of its major Bengaluru developments, 77° Town Centre, has approximately 2.89 million sq ft of operational commercial space, with another 2.65 million sq ft of future development potential, according to the company.

Tapadia’s appointment comes as developers with growing office portfolios increasingly focus on tenant retention, occupancy, operating efficiency, capital expenditure, ESG performance and long-term asset value. His experience at Embassy REIT adds an institutional asset-management perspective as DivyaSree scales its commercial portfolio.
