JSW One Platforms has expanded its Board with the appointment of Aparna Popat Ved and Prabhjeet Singh as Independent Directors, as the B2B digital platform prepares for its next phase of growth.
The appointments bring expertise in technology, talent development, strategy and governance to the company’s Board. JSW One Platforms serves the manufacturing and construction ecosystem, with a focus on MSMEs, through its technology and distribution platform.
Gaurav Sachdeva, Joint Managing Director & CEO, JSW One Platforms, said the company’s next phase of growth will require a broad range of perspectives as it scales its technology, distribution and financial services capabilities across India.
Popat Ved is a two-time Olympian and three-time Commonwealth Games medallist. She received the Arjuna Award in 2005 and holds an MBA. She is an Independent Director on the boards of Eternal Limited, formerly Zomato Limited, and Hero FinCorp Limited. She has also co-founded All Is Well of Meboki Technologies Private Limited and previously served as Executive Director of the Olympians Association of India.
Her experience in high-performance environments, along with her work in mentoring and talent development, will add to the Board’s focus on building teams and organisational culture.
Singh brings experience in strategy and management, having previously been associated with McKinsey & Company and Uber Systems India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and electrical communication engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a post-graduate diploma in management from IIM Ahmedabad.
He has also received the Young Alumni Achiever award and the Kollengode V. Srinivas Award for Best PGP Allrounder from IIM Ahmedabad.
The company said the two appointments will broaden the Board’s experience as JSW One Platforms works to expand its technology, distribution and financial services capabilities across India.
