Some careers are built on ambition. Others are built on trust. For Venika, it has always been the latter. Years of working closely with customers and teams have taught her that relationships are rarely shaped by big promises. They are built through consistency, honest conversations and the confidence that every commitment will be honoured. That belief has also shaped her understanding of leadership. "Leadership is about being accountable, communicating openly and following through on commitments," Kapoor says. "That approach has shaped the way I lead, build teamsand earn the trust of the people I work with." She believes the conversation around women in leadership has become far more encouraging than it once was. Yet, for Kapoor, the real milestone is not representation alone. It is creating workplaces where people are trusted with responsibility, encouraged to contribute and recognised for the quality of their work, not their gender. The same perspective shapes her view of business growth. While rapid groeth may attract attention, sustainable growth builds trust. She believes organisations succeed by honouring commitments, fostering strong relationships and maintaining consistency. In her view, strong leadership is rooted in collaboration, thoughtful decision-making and creating environments where individuals feel valued and heard.
